How to build a city from scratch (EN)

Oslo Airport City (OAC) is planning for a new sustainable city that will be built adjacent to Oslo Airport. Using OAC as a case study, Tomas Stokke (Haptic Architects) will discuss the importance of integrating well thought-through masterplanning principles into the design of new cities as well as presenting Oslo Airport City.

This will be followed by an open panel discussion with: 
Maria Smith (Interrobang / Oslo Architecture Triennale)
Charlotte Helleland (Dark Architecture)
Alex Ely (Mae Architects),
Moderator: Knut Hovland (Nordic)

The panel will consider the value in integrating diverse design, technical and socio-economic drivers in the design of a cities. They will consider the relevance of cross-collaboration between industries and the importance of considering the different scales of the city throughout design.
