How can neuroscience improve urban development?
Araceli Camargo is an Indigenous American, Cognitive Neuroscientist and co-Founder of Centric Lab. She holds an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from King's College London, where she focused on the attention system. She has a keen interest in using neuroscience to understand more about the relationship between people and the physical environment.
Her mission is to make habitats that are healthy, sustainable, and accessible.
She has done work in London, New York, Rwanda and Peru.
At Oslo Urban Arena, she is keen to bring a human-centric and biological approach to city discourse. She will be doing a deep dive on how cities directly affect the life cycle of people.
